YWCA may terminate at-will executive director
A veteran executive director of a YWCA suffering from stress and anxiety because of her organization’s financial condition and her continuing disputes with the CFO is an at-will employee and may be fired while on medical leave, a Court of Appeals in Washington has affirmed. Monica Walters had been executive director since 1996 when she was terminated in February of 2009.
